The Merry Market was created as a way to bring the community together, give back to the many vendors who support our cause and to most importantly, bring awareness and additional funding to our nonprofit, A Place to Rise. 

Throughout the year we work with many South Shore families in their time of need. That may be a one-time giftbasket drop-off for someone experiencing loss or sometimes it's on-going assistance because of recent hardship. The requests come in from people themselves, loved ones and oftentimes our local social workers (they do amazing work!). Events like the Merry Market help bring awareness to our cause and also funds many of the needs that arise for these families, throughout the year.
