in this episode, we are speaking with Courtney Doyle, owner of Clandestine Kitchen, a ‘total body wellness’ lifestyle brand and home & corporate healthy meal delivery service. CK was born from Courtney’s desire to share her love of food, passion for cooking, and dedication to nutrition and healthy living with her community. we also announce our partnership for the women in food podcast series!

Courtney talks about relocating from San Francisco to Hingham, MA and what the journey has looked like. She dives into the early days that led to starting Clandestine Kitchen. She dives into her home and corporate meal delivery services and what the CK team offers as well as her newly launched private chef services. We touch on the pandemic and what shifts she has had to make. Courtney touches on how her business changed and what a huge impact the pandemic has had on the food and restaurant industry as a whole. Courtney dives into how she has grown her team throughout the process and, of course, managed to pivot. She talks about the respect she has for the industry as she has watched so many friends and colleagues do the same. Courtney is a Mom to 3, 4 counting her yellow Lab. We discuss how she works to find balance in family and business ownership as well as what advice she has for someone just getting started, specifically in the food industry. She talks about all of the moving pieces of CK, from employees to managing a fleet of delivery vans, their a kitchen space, to stocking the food and keeping menus fresh. We dive into the local food community here on the South Shore and how it has changed and grown over the years. She also touches on her commitment to the local community and giving back as well as things to be on the lookout for.
