Caitlin works remotely as a research professor at UMass Boston. Her work focuses on the development and evaluation of programs and interventions that promote independence and quality of life for older people — including the ways in which communities can create environments that promote such outcomes. Caitlin also has a passion for community service. She currently serves as a member of the Scituate Council on Aging, co-director of the statewide Taskforce to End Loneliness & Build Community, and a volunteer for South Shore Peer Recovery. She is a mom to two small humans and a couple of cats. Originally from Ohio, she is looking forward to getting out of her home office and meeting new women of the South Shore.
